Connection to another class

Yet again, AP Chemistry and precalc tied together. Although very different concepts, both classes are using logs right now. I understand the logs in precalc, but sadly, that did not help me in chemistry. They are used very differently. We are using logs to find pH in chemistry now and it's quite confusing. I thought it was neat that logs can be used for two very different concepts in two very different classes.
